Newcomerstown High School Student Spotlight

The Teen Ambassador Board provides Ohio's future leaders with an inside look at Ohio law and government and consists of high school students from around the state. Applicants accepted, serve a one year term. Members will advise the attorney general's office on issues relating to teens and work with their peers to develop solutions to those issues. They will also have the opportunity to meet with Ohio Attorney General Andy Wilson, attend events around the state, throughout the year, visit both Columbus and regional offices, interact with Assistant Attorneys General and hear from various elected officials.

Gracelea is a student athlete involved in softball and cheerleading, both of which have taught her valuable skills in teamwork, leadership, dedication, and perseverance. She is also involved in College Credit Plus classes, giving her the opportunity to get a head start on her college education. After graduation, she plans to attend college to study pre-law or criminal justice and eventually attend law school. Her goal is to become either a criminal defense attorney or a corporate lawyer and use her career to advocate for others and make a positive difference.

Gracelea states: I am so excited and grateful to be accepted into the Ohio Attorney General’s Student Ambassador Board and look forward to learning, growing, and making a difference through this experience!

Congratulations Gracelea!!
