D…is for having Discipline and self control even if the rest of the students are off task.
I…..is for Independence! She knows what she can do and has no problem with her initiative.

4th grade- Avery Anderson
The fourth grade student of the month for October was selected by the 4th grade team. This student has a smile and shows kindness to everyone daily. She is intelligent and witty. She wants everyone to synergize and be included in any group setting. She shows poise with any challenging task that comes her way. She is willing to go above and beyond for others to be accepted, and her intentions are always genuine. The 4th grade student of the month is Avery Anderson. Congratulations Avery!
3rd grade- Addison Wilson
Addison Wilson is the 3rd grade Student of the Month for October! Mrs. Miller says that Addi is a wonderful student who comes to school ready to learn. She is always prepared and organized, which helps her be successful in class. Addi is also known for being helpful to her teachers and kind to her peers. Whenever she faces a difficult task, she does not give up easily. Instead, she works hard to overcome the obstacle. She is a great listener and is respectful towards her classmates. Her dedication to learning, kindness towards others, and willingness to face challenges head-on make her a great leader.
Miss Lefler- Hunter Houston
Miss Lefler's Student of the Month for October has been working hard to be proactive and put first things first. He has strived throughout the first nine weeks to learn new routines, make new friends, and follow the classroom rules. He is a friend to others and tries hard to be part of the classroom. This student is learning the value of hard work and tries hard to think win-win. He is observant of others and wants to be a leader. This student has tried to be independent and to learn to try first. He says things that make others laugh and values things like family, friends, and fun. He has been an amazing addition to their classroom this year, and Miss Lefler is so thankful to get to work and learn alongside him. Miss Lefler's October Student of the Month is Hunter Houston!
2nd grade- Jasper Barron
Jasper Barron is the October Student of the Month for 2nd grade. Mrs. Popadak says Jasper is a wonderful student to have in class! He is such a great helper to all his classmates, when he sees someone struggling or that needs help he steps up without being asked. He is also always willing to do whatever is asked of him from the teachers with a smile on his face. Jasper is a super hard worker and shows many leadership qualities. Mrs. Popadak is so glad she gets to have him in her class this year!
