This does not bother Khaleesi! She stays laser focused on the job at hand and does it without complaining. She asks questions when she doesn’t understand and is always willing to lend a helping hand to Mrs. Popadak or her classmates. Khaleesi uses her time wisely in the classroom and always gets her work done in a neat and organized manner. She has been a joy to have in the classroom this year. Great job Khaleesi!

March Student of the Month- Miss Lefler
"A warm smile is the universal language of kindness." When Miss Lefler considered who to nominate for her March Student of the Month, this quote came to mind. Miss Lefler's March Student of the month has a smile that lights up any room he is in. And behind every smile is gentleness and kindness. Miss Lefler's Student of the Month is Rolan Watson. Rolan is a friend to everyone. He is gentle with those around him and willing to offer a pat or hug when someone is feeling down. Rolan does not always speak a lot, but he takes everything in, often seeing things that others don't. Rolan is not only a kind person, he is a creative one too. He has a talent for drawing and writing. He can dance and join in games and has learned to include his classmates and cheer for others when they win. Rolan creatively solves issues that arise in the classroom, and he inspires others to do the same. Though he is a kid of few words, Rolan communicates love, acceptance, gentleness, and kindness to others daily. He works hard to learn and does his best on assignments, and he is truly a sponge, often taking in and learning things as quickly as they are taught. Rolan lights up our whole classroom. We are so blessed to work with him every day. He makes our school an even gentler and kinder place. We are so proud of him and all of his efforts. Keep shining, Rolan. You truly make the world a brighter place!

When you think of the 4th grade March student of the month, you can’t help but think of a smile that can light up every room. This student has a quiet and sometimes shy demeanor, but once you get to know him, he is charming and inspirational. If you are lucky enough to get a hug it's as if you are hugging a teddy bear. This student's heart is as big as Saturn, and his kindness is spread to each and every person he comes across. In his academics and especially his extracurricular activities, this student's effort is hard to match. He is always striving to do his best and help others do their best as well. He brings joy to the classroom each and everyday. With much enthusiasm, the 4th grade team would like to recognize Austin Kuhns as the March student of the month. Congrats and we are so proud of you!
