September Student of the Month- 2nd grade
Mrs. Hayes has nominated Aubrey Belt for the September 2nd grade Student of the Month. Aubrey is off to a great start in 2nd grade. She has proven to be a hard worker and a good friend. Mrs. Hayes has seen her multiple times helping other students when they are in need of a word, help with the chromebook, or just someone to play with. We appreciate her kind heart and attitude. Mrs. Hayes is excited to see everything she accomplishes this year! Congratulations Aubrey!
September Student of the Month- 3rd grade
Mrs. Beitzel has nominated Miles Gibson for Student of the Month! Miles has a strong work ethic and consistently stays on task during class. He works hard and does not allow himself to be distracted by his environment. Miles models great behavior and often holds up the quiet zero sign to remind classmates to remain quiet. He is a great student to have in class. Way to go Miles!
September Student of the Month- 4th grade
The 4th grade student of the month really has been a shining star since school started. This student goes out of his way to help others with classwork and daily tasks. He is polite to his teachers, but also willing to add some humor and ornery to each day. He has shown kindness to everyone. When it is time to get down to business, he gets after it, and if he has questions, he is always willing to be assertive and ask for clarification. On his first reading test, he wrote an amazing essay for the extended response prompt and was diligent to answer all parts of the original question. During homeroom, he is willing to be a trustworthy assistant with small tasks around the classroom. He brings joy to everyday life and we are so proud to recognize him. The 4th grade student of the month is Dalton Heston. Way to go buddy! You are a shining star!
September Student of the Month- Miss Lefler
There are many things we have all learned to do when we are having a rough time or a bad day. In Miss Lefler's classroom, they just find Riley Miller. Riley is truly a ray of sunshine. She brings warmth and love to everyone around her. She jumps in to help even before she knows what she is helping with a lot of times! She tells humorous stories and tells funny jokes. She offers pick-me-ups or reminders of the bright side of things to those who are down. And, if none of that works, she offers a warm hug or high five. Riley is a leader within the classroom and other school settings. She doesn't always lead in word, but she does so in service. She is compassionate, caring, and concerned for others, even when it does not benefit her in any way. When asked what she wants to do when she is older, she often responds that she wants to help people. For these reasons and so many more, Riley is Miss Lefler's pick for September Student of the Month.
September Student of the Month- 5th grade
The 5th grade team has nominated Owen Dennis for the September Student of the Month. Owen is a fifth-grade student known for his kindness, politeness, and overall positive presence in the classroom. He consistently demonstrates a willingness to assist both his peers and teachers, often taking the initiative to complete tasks without needing to be asked. His proactive attitude and helpful nature make him a valued member of the 5th grade family. Congratulations Owen!
