March SOM

March Student of the Month- 2nd grade

Mrs. Popadak would like to recognize Charlotte Hogan as Student of the Month for 2nd grade. Charlotte makes sure she has her supplies ready for the day first thing in the morning which saves her time later in the day. She works hard and if she doesn’t understand something she will ask for help and work to figure it out. She is always in a good mood and has a helpful heart towards her classmates and teachers alike. Charlotte has been a blessing to have in my class this year. Keep up the good work Charlotte!

March Student of the Month- 3rd grade

Mrs. Romer has selected Khaleesi Cook as the 3rd grade Student of the Month. One of the things about Khaleesi is that she accepts new responsibilities and challenges easily. She is a leader when working in groups. She can persevere through hard tasks. She is one of the most polite and respectful students that Mrs. Romer has ever had. She knows that Khaleesi will be successful in the future. Good Job Khaleesi!

March Student of the Month- 4th grade

Our fourth grade student of the month is the definition of hard work. She comes to school ready to learn and always gives her best effort. She takes her time and is very thorough with her work to make sure she does things the right way. She has a heart of gold and shows kindness to everyone. She is very honest with her heart and her thoughts and isn’t afraid to stand up for others or what she believes in. She also has the latest and greatest ideas when it comes to fashion and makeup and is never afraid to dazzle herself or those around her. Her joy and spunk are infectious to all, and we love all of that about her. She makes fourth grade a great place to be. Congratulations to Cambriella Hlad on being recognized as the fourth grade student of the month. Keep being you girl! We are so proud of you!

March Student of the Month- Miss Lefler

“Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible.” This quote perfectly captures Miss Lefler’s Student of the Month, Hunter Houston’s, approach to learning and growth.  He has set goals and has made what he once thought impossible possible.

Throughout this year, Hunter has developed skills in every area of his studies as well as socially, consistently striving to make those around him proud. He is sensitive and thoughtful, yet unafraid to put himself out there, whether it’s participating in class, offering to help a peer, or taking on new challenges. Hunter is often one of the first to volunteer, showing his generosity and eagerness to contribute to our classroom community.

His friendly smile, which often reaches his eyes, sets everyone around him at ease and brightens our classroom each day. Hunter has learned to take instruction and correction with grace, always working hard to correct his mistakes and improve. He is pure-hearted and guided by a strong sense of doing what he believes is right, and his integrity shines through in all he does.

Over the course of this year, Hunter has grown into a true leader in our classroom. We can always count on him to help others to the best of his ability, to support his peers, and to contribute positively to our learning environment. Beyond his hard work and dedication, Hunter has a wonderful sense of humor, loves to enjoy a good time, and genuinely seeks connections with those around him.

It is a joy and a privilege to be Hunter’s teacher. His growth, kindness, and leadership make him an exemplary Student of the Month, and we are so proud to celebrate all that he has accomplished.

March Student of the Month- 5th grade

The 5th Grade Team is honored to nominate Creed Moore as the March Student of the Month. His quick wit and outrageous personality keep us all laughing and on our toes. The diligence he demonstrates both in and out of the classroom have helped Creed to have a successful year in 5th grade. Additionally, Creed is a very kind and respectful classmate. He works well in small groups and encourages others to participate in activities, wanting others to have a voice and be heard. He is respectful to the adults in the building and always finds a way to help, often taking on tasks that others may not notice. Congratulations, Creed. You are more than deserving of this recognition.
