April Student of the Month- 4th grade
The fourth grade Student of the Month exemplifies all the examples of its true meaning. This student goes above and beyond daily to do their best with their school work, even though it does not always come easy for him. He defies the odds of hardwork, with a “challenge accepted.” This year, that has especially shown through with this student as the year has progressed and no doubt he has risen to the highest of levels in the classroom academically.
This student also excels in his ability to care for others. He strives for all to be accepted and included in whatever activity they wish. Although he is competitive in spirit, his biggest drive comes through wanting everyone to WIN.
This student becomes an ‘all-american’ because of the type of person he is inside and out and how he represents himself, his family, his school, and his community. This student carries himself with dignity and pride, but also with grace and humility. He is the “poster boy” for our mission of LEAD. LOVE. SERVE. LEARN. He is always caring for others, with the understanding that his own saw still needs to be sharp in order for the “team” to succeed. And if we are picking team captains, we’re picking him to lead us.
Congratulations to Cylas Barron on being recognized as the fourth grade Student of the Month for April. We are so proud of you Cy!

April Student of the Month- 2nd grade
Mrs. Reiger has selected Maximus Mardis as the second grade Student of the Month for April! She says Maximus is a hard working student that goes above and beyond to meet his goals. He often chooses to work on his math or AR goals instead of doing earned free time or a class brain break. Once he has his mind set on achieving something, he puts in all the hard work to meet whatever the goal is. He is such a helpful classmate and is a kind friend to all. Maximus has incredible integrity and strives to always do the right thing even when no one is watching. Maximus has a lot of initiative and is always the first one to jump in to help whenever it is needed. He comes to school prepared and motivated each day. Maximus keeps an organized desk, participates and stays on task throughout the entire school day. He has outstanding behavior and demonstrates leadership in all that he does. I know he will achieve great things in his future. Congratulations Maximus, I am very proud of you!
April Student of the Month- Lefler
Gauge Kutcher is Miss Lefler’s Student of the Month for April, and it’s easy to see why. Gauge brings something special into the classroom each and every day - a spirit that lifts others, a kindness that comforts, and a heart that truly sees people.
He is the kind of student who cheers the loudest for others, who offers encouragement without being asked, and who shows love and support in the simplest yet most meaningful ways. Once Gauge understands what is expected of him, he gives his best effort and works hard to succeed. He approaches each day with a positive attitude, often arriving with a smile and a readiness to make the most of every moment.
Gauge is creative, full of personality, and has a wonderful sense of humor that brings joy to those around him. But what truly sets him apart is his ability to understand others—even in moments when they may not fully understand themselves. He has a natural gift for reading the room and responding with exactly what someone might need—a hug, a gentle hand squeeze, a thoughtful drawing, or simply his quiet presence.
Gauge reminds us that success isn’t just measured by what we achieve, but by how we make others feel. And because of him, our classroom is a more compassionate, connected, and joyful place. He sees every classmate, and more importantly, values every single one.
We are so proud of you, Gauge. Keep being exactly who you are. You make this world, our community, our school, and our classroom all better places.
