A Kiln full of Christmas ceramic projects!
Students have created all kinds of clay projects for family gifts and to hang on their Christmas trees! Oh what a surprise when Ms. DePuy opens the lid of the ceramics kiln!!!

These small art squares were created by all students at West School during the first few months of school. Each homeroom class has a poster displayed at the library with student names attached underneath. These are on display through Thursday, December 18th.

Congratulations to the West School winners of the ARTSNCT Pizza Box Art Contest!

1st Place- Corbin Hunt, 5th grade

WAY TO GO!

There will be a parent meeting for students interested in participating in 5th grade band on November 12th from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the West School cafeteria. Our music representative from C.A. House music will be there to explain different purchasing options through them, and Mr. Bradley will also have some information about other ways to purchase instruments as well as information about the program itself. Students will have an opportunity to check out all the instruments in order to help determine what would be the best fit for them during their band career. Check out the attached letter from Mr. Bradley for more information!

Parent/Teacher Conferences are October 30 and 31. There is no school for West School students on those days.

The first 9 weeks A.R. activity for West School was an A.R. Tailgate Party on Friday, October 24th. We had 205 students meet their goals! They enjoyed a variety of activities. Thank you to our high school Teen Lead, cheerleaders, and football players who came to help us celebrate, and to Mrs. Durben for planning such a fun afternoon!
