Tuesday, Aug 19th from 5-6pm is our Open House for grades 2-5! Come enjoy the food truck, meet your teacher for this school year and check out what local agencies have to offer in the gym!
Open House house will be Tuesday, August 19th from 5-6pm. Students are welcome to come and meet their teacher and see their classroom for the new school year! We will have several community agencies set up in the gym with information for families and a food truck will be set up as well! We can't wait to see you!

Our End of Year Awards Assembly will be held on Wednesday, May 28th at 1:30pm. Students will be recognized for Perfect Attendance, All A's, Leadership Teams and Track & Field Day overall grade level winners. Parents/Families are welcome to attend.
Tomorrow NHS seniors will do their senior walk through the halls of West School in their caps and gowns. We would love for all West School students to wear their West School t-shirts tomorrow! We will line the halls as our seniors walk through and thought it would be really cool if we were all wearing our West shirts to remind the class of 2025 that.......They are loved! They are important and they matter!

As the end of the school year is quickly approaching, we would like to remind you to please come to the school and pick up your child's medication. We will not be sending these medications home with students. We ask that either on the last day of school (May 29th) or during the week of May 27th or June 2nd you stop by the school to pick up your child's remaining medication in the school office. Please remember you will need to complete a new medication authorization form for the 2025-2026 school year for any and all medications that your child will be taking at school.
Congratulations to these A.R. (Accelerated Reader) Goal Crushers! They got to go bowling at Cy Young Lanes this morning to celebrate tripling their A.R. goals this nine weeks.
We had 27 students who tripled their A.R. goals for the 4th nine weeks. Way to go!
Permission slips were sent home with students for the Football & Cheer Clinic! Please make sure to sign and return them to the office if your student wants to participate. 🏈📣
Early Release on May 29th!
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Our school is implementing a whole-school transformational process called the Leader in Me, which teaches 21st-century leadership and life skills to students and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader.
Our school will be conducting surveys to learn more about key areas of strength and areas of needed growth in our school. In order for us to have a holistic picture of what is going on in our school, we are asking all staff members, parents/guardians, and students in Grade 4 and up to participate.
Parent Participation If you decide to participate, you will be asked to complete a survey (without sharing your name or other identifying information) that will be available through the web link below. The survey is completely voluntary, but we do hope to get feedback from one member of every household.
The parent/guardian survey takes about 12 minutes to complete and will ask questions about your child and about his or her experience in our school. If you have more than one child attending the school, you will be asked to think about the oldest child's experiences as you answer questions related to his or her growth.
